Study Skills Development
This session is primarily aimed at off campus students who have been referred to University of Sunderland Study Skills Service by the Academic Misconduct Panel. If it is a University requirement that you meet with University Library & Study Skills please sign up for and attend a session.
This session will be relevant to all off campus students and all are welcome to sign up even if you just want to learn more about referencing and plagiarism.
You will be expected to participate in this session though activities and using the chat.
You will learn about referencing and plagiarism. We'll discuss what plagiarism is and how you can avoid it, we'll look at good practice when referencing and point you to a great resource you can use - Cite Them Right Online There will be time for you to ask questions too.
After booking your place you will receive a confirmation email which includes the Microsoft Teams link. Please read the confirmation email and save it so that you can easily find the Teams link when the session starts.
